Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven - is a three-dimensional game of shares (TPP),of criminal life
of the United States of America 30 years The creator game is Illusion Softworks (now the Czech 2K), the creator of, among others Hidden and Dangerous.
The player embodies the character of Thomas Angelo - that the unexpected turnover of cases will have to join the family a criminal organization - the mafia. The action game takes place in the city fikcyjnym - Lost Heaven (wzorowanym to Chicago and New York).
In the city trams travel and the type of nadziemnej suburban railway, from which a player can
freely use. Outside the city is also the airport (available only in the feature game), but the
player does not have the ability to use the aircraft.
The player is moving around the city must comply with numerous regulations (particularly
roads). Breaking them in the eyes of one of the officers can call police pursuit, setting up
roadblocks on the road, and eventually attempt to halt the player with weapons.
The story games Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven contains many references to classic works of
drama gangsterskiego like "Father Chrzestnego" Francis F. Coppola. City of Lost Heaven has been designed on the basis of historic architecture and design of American cities thirties years.
All vehicles, which can be used during the game, are authentic - in the original version only
changed their brand to fictitious names
